Kim Peterson  MAMFT, LADC/MH owner of Connect Now, LLC counseling service is a licensed mental health professional with an extensive background in mental and behavioral health, special education, developmental disorders, substance abuse and dependency and marriage and family counseling. Kim received her undergraduate degree in 1994 from the University of Central Oklahoma and her Graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2005 from Southern Nazarene University. She has more than 20 years experience in psychology and counseling and 12 years experience in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. She is currently employed by a hospital with 3 acute psychiatric units as a Mental Health Therapist, whose focus is trauma for adults.

Kim uses clinically tested and evidenced-based interventions in her therapy sessions. Kim’s certifications, licenses and credentials include: 'Say It Straight' certified Mandt instructor, possess a lifetime membership with Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGLA), ASAM PPC-2R, Addiction Severity Index (ASI), Say It Straight, Behavior Crisis Management, PRIDE, and The Mandt System. Completed specialized training with Dr. Liddle using his Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy model.
